A travers les murs is on France 2

To give and give back the voice.

This is the mission of the association À Travers les Murs, which the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Foundation is proud to support.

"Prisons will close their doors to you. Without a network, it will never work."

That's what Ilan Volson-Derabours was told in August 2020, almost 4 years ago now, when the idea of giving eloquence classes in prison germinated in his head.

Every week, accompanied by an exceptional team, the À Travers les Murs association intervenes in the prisons of the Paris region.

On 2024 February 24, France 2's cameras were able to join the association in Nanterre to capture a few precious moments of their interventions, a bubble outside the prison world and yet at the heart of the Ile-de-France prisons.
