SIMUN: a unique international experience at the Sorbonne

From April 11 to 14, 2024, a unique experience took place: the Sorbonne International Model United Nations - SIMUN, the very first Model United Nations conference organized by Sorbonne students via Sorbonne ONU - SONU. This extraordinary conference offered all its participants the opportunity to represent a country and defend its interests in simulated UN committees, but also to debate burning international issues, from security in the Red Sea to the protection of Human Rights in refugee camps and pleadings before the International Court of Justice. 

Discovering the world of diplomacy, public speaking and negotiation in the prestigious setting of the Sorbonne accompanied by over 200 delegates from more than 20 countries around the world, this great event by day was rounded off with "socials" in the evening after debating all day, to end in style with a magnificent gala.
