The Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Prize for Contemporary Art celebrates its 10th anniversary!

On Friday, January 20, 2026, the anniversary edition of the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Prize for Contemporary Art, organized by the Master 2 Art Market Association - Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, was held at the Bastille Design Center.

For ten years, this award has been highlighting young contemporary creation and promoting the work of young artists by providing a meeting place for the academic world and professionals in the sector.

Founded by Sydney CHICHE-ATTALI, alongside Jean Vergès, Clémentine Joubeaux, and Laura Bouillet, the prize has been supported for more than four years by the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Foundation, which contributes, through it, to the university's influence beyond its walls.

For this 10th edition, fifteen finalists presented their work to a jury of committed professionals.
We warmly congratulate the three winners:

-Samantha Antoine, winner of the Jury Prize
-Mao Wu, winner of the Audience Prize
-Gustave Renaudot, winner of the Alumni and Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Foundation Prize

Ten editions, undiminished collective energy, and renewed ambition for the years to come!
