International Public Speaking Competition Finals
Public speaking takes center stage at the Panthéon!
On Thursday, April 16, the eighth edition of the Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University International Public Speaking Competition came to a close under the historic dome of the Panthéon. More than 350 people in attendance and 2,000 online viewers tuned in to witness this exceptional event.
Between debating duels and heartfelt tributes, the contestants showcased their talents in the hope of winning one of the prizes awarded by the jury.
The jury was composed of:
Christine Neau-Leduc, president of the university
Nicolas Pariser, filmmaker and patron of this edition
Graziella Suchey, Grand Prix winner of the 2025 edition
Frédéric Naquet, labor lawyer
Emmanuel Kessler, president of the French parliamentary television channel LCP-AN
Raphaël Malara, director of geographic coordination at Campus France
Anna Prstojevic, head of the debate club at the Sorbonne Association for the United Nations (SONU)
Thibaud Sauner-Leroy, president of the Student Parliament Association
At the end of the evening, three candidates won awards:
the Breakthrough Award went to Matéo Migot-Cattaneo
the Audience Choice Award went to Noé Loquier
the Grand Prize was awarded to Tom BIL
