A delegation of foreign philanthropists at the Sorbonne

On July 7, 2025, the Panthéon-Sorbonne Foundation was delighted to welcome a delegation of Americans, Hong Kongers and Britons to the Sorbonne. We showed them around the Courtyard, the Richelieu Amphitheatre, the Sorbonne Inter-University Library and the Grand Amphitheatre.

Curator Isabelle Ditry honored us with a presentation of the Puvis de Chavannes sketches recently acquired by BIS, for which we are currently seeking a major patron. She also showed us a selection of extraordinary treasures retracing the fabulous history of the Sorbonne, which dates back to the 13th century.
