University's projects
The International Eloquence Competition
Every spring, the Concours international d'éloquence takes the spirit of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University beyond its walls.
Through this competition, the University offers candidates the opportunity to confront their ideas, question their knowledge and participate in the emergence of new knowledge in touch with our world through the practice of public speaking.
The Doctors' Ceremony
Every year, the University's young PhDs are honored at the traditional Doctors' Ceremony, held in the majestic setting of the Sorbonne's Grand Amphithéâtre.
The cocktail party following the ceremony, held in the Sorbonne's grand salons, is a major event, offering excellent opportunities to meet and exchange ideas with the University's presidency, researchers and students.
Becoming a patron of the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne means supporting a unique spirit that combines a demanding scientific approach with the ambition to create new knowledge that transforms the world.
It's a way of encouraging the enthusiasm of our students and researchers, who are actors of the present and promoters of projects that bring people together around shared values.
